There has been an increase in invitations for French speakers in the express entry pool.
The Government of Canada is committed to welcoming more Francophone immigrants and has implemented changes such as giving additional Express Entry points for proficiency in a second official language.
In fact, over the past year, more French speakers have been invited to apply under Express Entry compared to previous years.
The IRCC has also announced improvements in services for Francophone immigrants arriving at Pearson International Airport in Toronto.
Approximately 2,100 French-speaking new permanent residents land at Pearson each year. IRCC is committed to strengthening the quality of settlement services for these new arrivals and connecting them to Francophone communities outside Quebec as early as possible in their settlement and integration process.
This is welcome news for French Candidates and Bi-lingual Candidates.
